2016 Everyday Political Citizens – Samara Canada

One of the most powerful ways to change Canadian politics is by telling a story. That’s what you do when you nominate and celebrate Everyday Political Citizens—and what we want to celebrate this Giving Tuesday.

All this week and last, your 2016 Everyday Political Citizens are changing the face of political coverage in Canada. From the GTA to Vancouver to Winnipeg, EPCs are taking over headlines.

As thousands of people read about Kakeka Thundersky, Erin Kang, Carol Todd and many amazing others (here, here and here), we are all reminded that getting involved is how change happens.

If you believe these stories matter and deserve to be shared because they build a better politics, and a better Canada, we hope you will donate $25, $50 or $100 today.

Democracy is the cause to give to this #GivingTuesday.

Sincerely,

Jane, Kendall, Jenn, John, Bailey, Jose and Christina

P.S. Here is what one monthly donor had to say about why she gives:

I give to Samara because their work provides perspective and insight into our democracy and political processes that I wouldn’t otherwise have access to. Samara plays an important role in building capacities that are needed to strengthen our democracy—empowering me and many others across the country. -Jody R., Vancouver, BC

Thank you to Jody and many others who give to Samara and make sharing these stories possible.
